A software product, resource library and contributor community.
Icy is an open bioimage-analysis ecosystem founded by Institut Pasteur and France-BioImaging. Its website has to introduce the software, distribute it and organise a growing body of technical knowledge for users and developers.
A product with many ways in
Some visitors need the application, others a plugin, script or protocol; contributors need technical context, and new users need training or support. The platform must make these resource types distinct while keeping them part of one product ecosystem.
Product delivered
- Software and kernel information with clear download pathways
- Searchable plugins, scripts and protocols with structured technical metadata
- FAQ, forum, help and bug-reporting routes
- Training, events, newsletters and contributor guidance
- Custom resource models connecting users, developers and community knowledge
A knowledge base that can grow with the software
The product supports discovery without collapsing everything into generic articles. Each technical resource keeps its own model, while search and navigation allow the community to move across the ecosystem coherently.
